Yeah, most of what was left had some major cracks . One had a busted off thumb. This one had the least amount of damage. he just has a small crack on the top of his shell But nothing is busted off.

I went to Portland Wizard World con yesterday and today and make what I think are pretty good scores. I got a Road Ready Mutating Shredder mib for $20, a loose but complete Classics collection Donatello for $10, mirage comic issues 45, turtle soup 2 and 4 for $1 each and my personal favorite: Mirage #1 third print for $100. I'm not sure how great a deal that one was but every other copy I saw was over $200 both at con and on ebay so I took a leap and did it. Its probably the closest to an original I will ever afford so I took it while I had the chance.

i bought 6 loose complete mint figures, no cards but they were still in the clamp shell packaging. Undercover Don, Sewer Samurai Leo, Tattoo, General Traag, Wyrm and Walkabout for 50$. Also bought 2 MOC figures Rahzar and Groundchuck for 15$ a piece. I'm not sure whether I want to keep the Sewer Samurai Leo or Undercover Don though, they don't really fit in my collection.

A couple years ago I bought an old tmnt chest for $10 off Craigs list. The guy said they just bought the house and it was in the attic with a bunch of other things. Inside there was a bunch of loose figures, all ninja turtles related except for one which was a toxic avenger figure. some figures were broken and some I still had from, when I was a kid. What I found was the following. original bebop and rocksteady, mutating bebop with a missing hand, original splinter, original shredder, 2 original raphs one missing an arm, mutating leo with missing turtle leg, tattoo, tokka and razar, space cadet raph, wacky wild west mikey, and head poping raph.

I scored a Turtle Tracker (the humvee vehicle used in Next Mutation and repackaged in 2003-ish) and Shell Cycle for $2.25 on the bay, and picked up one of the larger zip-line playsets as well as a pop-up pizza playset for a total of $1.50 combined from the same salvage store I scored the 18 dollar sewer lair.

Thought someone in Cleveland might dig this. I'd go get it, but too far of a drive.

For those that may be interested in the 3D LED Turtle lights but balking at the price, the local Target store had Michelangelo on clearance for $15.

Well, I got another Nick Sewer Lair, complete, for a little over 8 dollars. I just finished painting the last one, didn't really need a second one, but at that price I couldn't pass it up. Now just trying to decide if I can somehow combine the two.

Eight dollars?!? Wow!
Coincidentally, I gave one of my two Nick sewers to my daughter today and donated the other one. ...and I'd STILL grab one for eight bucks! |
