I totally got the reference when I heard about Chong. I was surprised no one said anything but I guess not many people smoke weed:
Chong (most likely) a nod to Cheech and Chong (how many characters do we all know named Chong ?) Name of a pet cockroach which is a small joint... put 2 and 2 together. |

Probably only so that they could have an in-office joke put passed the masses. It's no coincidence as far as I'm concerned.

Mutagen Ooze Turtles (aka, Ghostbuster turtles) are the ones coming out, so we already know about those. I can't wait for the Cockroach, Spider Bytes, and even Mousers to come out. Those sound cool. I'm guessing Shredder 2 and Splinter 2 are more poseable versions of the basic versions and with better paint job. Maybe they'll even come with more accessories. Who knows? As for stealth Turtles, something tells me they'll be cartoon accurate turtle figures, or the basic turtle figures in black ninja outfits or something. But something tells me Ninja Leo and Don and Ninja Mike and Raph sound like they're going to be somewhat cartoon accurate. I don't know. Why they would come in a two-pack is beyond me. |

Thank you for not taking what I said as an insult. I've come across a good handful of people who claim to have info like this (some did, most were attention seekers), and most the time any question as to whether or not their BSing people is usually taken as a huge insult.

Awesome. Leatherhead was inevitable, and I feel Rat King had a decent chance too. Leatherhead will be an absolute must, and Rat King will certainly be tempting. If not for my TMNT display, he could always make a good Scarecrow stand-in...and I guess Leatherhead could even pass as a decent Killer Croc too...lol

Here are the pics of the TMNT listings. Like I said before, take these with a grain of salt as they could be subject to change, but this is what to expect as of now.

TRU in IL. The four turtles BTW are pretty easy to see through the ooze taking the guessing game out of your purchase. Plus on the bottom of the canister is serial number that ends in the letter A B C or D making it really easy to not buy doubles.
