Ok this is a genuine bo staff used in the original 1990 turtles film.
Before everyone comments that Leif was making fakes and there are 10+ Bo's out there.

This one is not wood. It's actually rubber and painted to look like real wood! It has a wooden dowel rod inside for rigidity but sadly it was broken during filming and repaired.
Like my other weapons there is some green paint on the leather.

Back in 2012 Navin Johnson mentioned that there was a set of weapons on display at planet Hollywood, well this is the bo that was there. It was used in the apartment fight, and when Donnie and Mikey are on the street fighting.

Not sure if it was used anywhere else, but there was 1 real bo which can be seen when they are training at the farmhouse. According to Steven ho, Ernie Reyes Jr gave him that bo when he filmed the sequel.

I purchased this from profiles in history along with the Chuck's used in part 1.
Those we're also from Planet Hollywood.

BTW another cool tidbit. The gumball machine to the right is the actual machine used in the toy store of part 2. I've stated this in previous posts.
What and where are the three framed pieces from?

The Movie Reliquary has taken the concept of "costume cards" to another level with really nice prop displays of cross sections of stuff.

This remind me the old "buy a REAL piece of the Berlin wall" concept.

Oh Geeze yeah. That was also done a lot with the seats and pieces from the old Wrigley Field.

But pieceworks stuff became very popular with card collectors - costume cards and such. I think this is actually neat idea. The Armor Cards from the first Rittenhouse Iron Man set are almost a grand each!
