[Fan Video] Casey Jones: Live Wire

There's a new Kickstarter with a $10k goal for a new fan film... "Casey Jones: Live Wire" by Chromatic Phantom Productions (Las Vegas-based team of Chaz Dray, Adam Michaels, and Steve Chesworth). Production value looks very good despite the modest budget, and hopefully this one will succeed where other TMNT Fan Film projects have failed (or stalled):

Let's hope it at least lives up to the standard of "Casey Jones: The Movie" from Polaris Banks.

The kickstarter video had not filled me with much hope, looked too fake and trend hopping but the trailer for the movie has won me over, it looks good. I'm surprised there aren't more people talking about it

The guy went a little too crazy with his blue LED lighting/gaffing but it's not a bad fan short, I guess. It definitely feels like a fan film.

Of course, in 2022, the internet has no shortage of Casey Jones fan films, but I like how "out there" this one is trying to be despite not having the resources to go full-on sci-fi. Also, I liked this mixture of Casey being both an unhinged vigilante but also a MAJOR 80s nerd.

I was hoping it would end up a big longer than 28 minutes, but the animated credits and post-credits teasers are intriguing for possible sequels (that will probably never happen, haha).
