No official word from NECA so far, but probably some time next year.
They said they were working to see if they could make it so these could be released in regular retail stores (which would be AWESOME) but it’s likely they’ll just be convention releases like the other figures.

Their sign on the image on the first post does say "2018" so I reckon there is little chance will see it before then.

This year is almost over. If we aren't going to see these until SDCC, that's a long wait.

Well, we had to wait years for them to release the Shredder and Foot figures. And we didn’t even have a general idea of when that would be.
Compared to that, this isn’t as bad.

It just seems obvious that the SDCC set for this year has to top what they did last year and that was an eight figure set, so this year's SDCC set will probably have another set of turtle variants, maybe in Playmates colors this time, and cartoon accurate Splinter, April, Rocksteady and Bebop.

Weren't the arcade sets from 2 yrs ago separate? Turtles was one set and Shredder and Foot another?

They could be doing something similar...Dimension X Villains one set and another 4 figure set or something as the second.

The Sdcc set will have at least 4 figures in it. We kind of have seen them already.

I'd guess...zero. It's going to be a more popular character that at least was in the video game, and probably one that also was popular enough to warrant an eventual repaint into the toon style too. Along with, ya know, the whole Dimension X theme (although I wouldn't have really thought Slash fit that, but hey, no complaints!).

Personally, I'm hoping for Krang in his android body. I think that fits the whole thing the best. I think there's several other possible options too - really any bad guy from the game: http://turtlepedia.wikia.com/wiki/Te...e_(video_game)
