Some of the earlier fan casts mentioned above didn't come with straps. There might be a market for you.

Except it would be too much hassle-- the thing I liked about these were that they were readily available to be drop-shipped and also easy to forward overseas. I didn't even ship them in the boxes they were shipped to me in-- I kept those boxes because I liked their dimensions and wrapped the display box in brown paper before forwarding them overseas.

Only brown paper? Sounds super risky and careless-- especially with international shipping. What about the collectors that like to keep their packages pristine? Do you accept returns for damaged boxes?

I've got to +1 on this one. If I were the recipient of a damaged display box wrapped in nothing but paper, I wouldn't have been a happy camper. Not a risk I would have taken, for sure. I'm glad it seems to have worked out for you.

Nobody complained. I have a feeling most of the people who bought them were cos-players and didn't care about the box. I didn't get one complaint-- just multiple people stateside communicating threats because I wouldn't let them cancel their pre-orders after the item became readily available for $32.99

I finally got my mask today after it was missing for 13 days. Well not so much got it as found it. Said it was delivered on the 12th so after fighting for the USPS and waiting my 2 weeks for it to show up as I was told it did.....as the snow bank melted next to my mailbox in today's 45 degree sunny day I saw the corner of a box sticking out. Seems like my mail lady did not want to get out of her vehicle as the first of 3 Nor'Easters was starting that day so instead of bringing boxes to the door like she is supposed to....looks like she just dropped it on the ground by the mailbox and the plows took care of it.

Somehow the mask itself was not damaged in any way and I really enjoy it. I think it is much better than the resin one from Taiwan I got a few years ago.
