Variant spike n volley don

Hey guy,

I recently realised that the equipment of my spike n volley don is made out of rubber instead of plastic. The color (orange) is still the same. Do you have any explanation?
His shorts have the blue/yellow variant if it helps.

Sewer Spittin' accessoires are made of rubber. Just common.

but there is still a variant with accessoires made out of plastic. It's more shiny and has a lighter orange shade as you can see on the picture:
