It was a good Teaser. It didn't show much. As for the title itself. Its interesting that we heard word Endgame mention twice. The first time we heard it was in Age of Ultron.

Yeah, it was pretty good as far as initial trailers go. I'm super f#cking stoked for the movie, somehow even more so than I already was. I expected to see more obvious signs of a time-jump but everything shown was pretty subtle.

I do like that "endgame" was said in Infinity War, it just feels neat IMO (cue that scene from Family Guy where Peter pokes fun at movies/shows that say their own title in the world itself). The Russos definitely lied and said that all the titles that had been guessed were incorrect when Avengers: Endgame was proposed but whatever, I don't blame them for trying to maintain the element of surprise (although the title really doesn't seem spoilery to me, like at all). In my opinion, "Endgame" is a better title than "Infinity War", mainly just because it's fewer syllables.

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten all about that. I do remember them building hype with a viral marketing campaign for the film; "the fire rises" and all that jazz

Really pumped for this. Finally, they got a "teaser" trailer right and didn't show much. Haha, It's like the smallest footage might contain the biggest spoiler nowadays for a MCU film.

When I first watched this today, I swore Tony was talking to the head of Ultron. I guess not. I'm assuming that's his mask from after the Thanos fight? i.e., we can infer he Tony Starks together some stuff on Titan to get offworld and back to Earth?

Looks like the Guardians new ship to me, the one they got during part 2.

It’s annoyingy trying to wrap my head around how that nanotech suit ends up as just a helmet.

The best thing is they showed Clint and Scott already, so we already know they aren't gonna be the biggest surprises.

I guess what’s more important is the poetry of the scene. I mean, the nanosuit is so advanced that it essentially seems like magic-hooplah at this point.

But for my own sanity, I’ll just imagine that whatever is left of the suit was concentrated into the helmet.

Rumor going around that Hulk, post-Thanos beatdown may have actually been... Loki, in diguise?

If that turns out to be true, I will have a fangirl joygasm!! Really kind of disappointed me that he "died" yet AGAIN. Loki seems to have become an expert at faking his death. Also, he IS adept with illusions, disguises, and lying....

Isn't Loki getting his own series? Though I've not read the articles so not sure if it is pre or post Infinity war, or just a separate altogether, so far as him surviving I mean. (if it's happening for sure)

So far as the movie, if that were true I'd be a little confused at why Banner was arguing with Hulk when trying to get him to come out....but would work with Hulk not coming out to play, I guess the real one would be trapped somewhere else ready and for a fight.

I'm still not at ease with how easily Thanos beat Hulk at the beginning but I'm told by 2 comic fans that he could....

He's coming back for sure. No way his Disney+ live action show is a prequel.

I always figured hulk was scared of thanos...and that's why he wouldn't come out to play for banner as it where. i never thought loki had something to do with it.

Yeah, I came away with the same thing, though I didn't really like that. I suppose it was just he wasn't used to such an easy defeat? Well, if he is him, wonder what will bring him back.

I didn't mind it.

Big Bad Hulk just finally came across someone smaller than him that could beat the snot out of him easily... and it scared the living crap out of him. that's bound to get someone who thought he was invincible. Even Superman had to take a break from battling Nuke Man.

A damn shame if that turns out to be true.

This is true.

So far as Loki, I did feel that if his death was final (and as it was done as a real death I thought it was) then it was kinda sad that it was right at the start and from doing something that would easily get him killed.
(I really did like the movie besides these little complaints btw)

Best to get Loki out of the way as quickly as possible, so as to let all of the new villains breathe. Loki tends to overshadow new characters, as Christopher Eccleston found to his chagrin. (Not that the director gave him much to work with in the final cut, anyway.)
