it's pure eye candy!!!

i was resigned to just sticking with the connecting Cover A's, but i'm very tempted to pick up the cover B's done by all the interior artists.
my favorite covers so far...

Spoiler:

aside from Michael Dialynas who's already drawn a few issues, i really hope we get to see some of these artists from this series draw for the the main ongoing series.

Maybe it is just me, but the turtles look like the first wave nickelodeon action figures... Even in some poses

I had the same thought while reading this issue. It's most apparent in the first panel in which they meet Ace Duck.

Oh, yeah, I love the 5-cover spread image, but the individual covers by the artists have been my faves, with the exception of #3's cover. Just could have been a little more than a head shot for me.

i totally agree with you on the B cover of issue #3.

and it's such a shame because that artist's interiors were amazingly beautiful.
maybe he was just on a really tight deadline with that particular cover?

After the Turtles save Ace from the female bounty hunter, their pose looks really like the action figures

Ace Duck was a pretty fly fowl in this issue, glad to see him finally appear in another iteration and that he turned out as cool as he did.
The whole Palmadise thing was a neat callback to Archie too.
This whole mini has been a real treat to read.

Don't really get the hype for Ace. His toy had a nice design but that was about it.

Yeah, agreed. Nicely done issue & all but Ace does nothing for me.

I'd rank these issues by order of release, personally.

I'm gonna have to agree on Ace too, especially since I haven't played the Waiting Game on him appearing.

If I want to check out a duck pilot...I'll stick with Launchpad McQuack, even if he doesn't have the skill or competence to be a pilot.
