No problem. Check Wal-Mart while supplies last.

Nick to launch Splat! programming block. It may be a bigger version of The 90s' Are All That segment o a Nick's spinoff station.

Nick is on fire lately. Let's hope they actually follow through with all these plans.

Nick announced at their TV Upfront that they will be reviving Legends of the Hidden Temple as a TV Movie, and officially confirmed that the Hey Arnold! special will be a two-part event

Legends of the Hidden Temple as a movie? I wish they'd just revive the series.

I was hoping to see The Jungle Movie by the year's end. Even longer of a wait? Blah. Two movies? Is it like two one hour specials, perhaps? It would be nice to get a bow on this wrap up.

I'm not even sure if I saw the last season of Hey Arnold and I didn't see the movie, I used to love the show though. Not really excited about the new movies for some reason though. I'm more excited about the silly crossover movie. I'll still be watching it and probably re-watching the whole show again.

I wonder how successful this nostalgia really is, I mean Nickelodeon like it or not is a kids network and even if the internet nerds like these announcements, they may get them tweeting and talking about it on social media but how many will actually watch and how many kids will actually care. It's not like they moved away from that style because they wanted but because they had to move on with their times. Do kids today really like all that 90s crap? Don't get me wrong I love it but I just don't see how any of these things make any business sense.

I'm guessing since we're getting so many announcements and they're being so aggressive about it that their previous give them some nostalgia programming really worked for them but that still seems like a boneheaded decision, you can get people to watch one "special" moment but the majority of the audience isn't going to stick with it even if it's a great re-creation of the original because they just aren't kids and kids today likely won't relate to it.

It's almost as if the guy in charge is someone who grew up in the 90s and the reason their doing all of this. I also see all this entitlement from cybernauts about how things shouldn't change. It's sad but you have to move on. Imagine if 80s kids had held back the 90s because they didn't want their decade to change. That's basically what I get from a lot of the sheep mentality of the internet. Again I love all of this happening but it just doesn't make any sense.

THe only revival I think I could get behind if they My Life as a Teenage Robot, but more action packed rather than focusing on the school aspect.

Then lead it to XJ-9 vs Danny

I feel that these guys should wait a while until they actually revive these, like start production now, release later on after people are done with the reboot fetish. Even if Nick is doing good right now it still can fail.

Does any one remember the Tomorrow People that aired in the 90's?

and Space Cases?

These were not quite so popular I think as the other shows and I know this is mostly focused on 90's toons but i thought some of the L.A. 90's shows were cool. I think I was the only one that liked Space Cases though...

I think Are you Afraid of the Dark should get a revival. This show used to genuinely scare when I was itty bitty. No joke I could not watch this unless my older sister was there with me. But I still loved it. The Intro would just freak me out:

Yes, I remember Space Cases. I watched it during its entire brief two seasons run. Walter Emmanuel Jones or the Black Ranger playing one of the three older students during its run was the initial reason I watched it. Something about a teacher and his five students being sucked into a black hole and it took seven years to get back while dealing with an evil race that plagued them and took one of the students in a standoff to finish the first season. It was cheesy and dark at times if a 19 year old member serves.

I remember Space Cases and when I saw it for the first time I thought to myself, "OMG, it's Zack from Power Rangers!" I did like some of episodes of Are You Afraid of the Dark, but most of them really did creep me out as a kid.
