Mondo Sixth Scale Mirage TMNT Figures

I have had three of the four turtles plus the mousers set for a couple of weeks now and I really do love them. I dig the Mirage look but I like how they used the different skin tones from the vintage toyline to mix things up and really hit that nostalgia nerve. Not exactly the most fun toys to pose and play with, but being an "adult collector" I don't really do much of that anyway, so they are right up my alley.

The only thing that has me really worried is that the tepid reaction the line has gotten in comparison to NECA's offerings means it probably won't have much longevity. The Casey and Shredder they teased look pretty amazing, but who knows if and when they will ever actually drop. Hopefully Mondo can get the next wave out in a timely manner at a reasonable price, to try and sustain some interest in the line and keep it going.

And since I can't post in the BST forum yet, I figure I might as well post this here, but I'm looking for an exclusive version Leonardo and eBay seems to have dried up, so if anyone is looking to get rid of theirs let me know.

Well at least its something. I feel like I have seen a picture of a Shredder, Casey, and foot elite somewhere from Mondo in terms of potential line continuation.

I feel like they showed them last summer at Comic Con ... but it may have been later. Either way, I doubt they’re release in 2019 after how bad the delays for the Turtle figures were.

That foot soldier looks great. I may actually prefer it to the Neca Movie one.

It's too bad that it's so difficult to keep the forearm guard intact, while providing articulation.

Still no estimated release date? I know the Mondo Turtles took FOREVER to make their way into the world but it’s been kinda quiet concerning these.

Oh, I was afraid I missed something. I did read the mirage ones but those are different than what you have in mind.

I have them up on my site and are a german version of the original english version with more issues released, just shortened down to 12 issues. At least to my knowledge, not sure anymore what my source was years ago. No further german mirage comics after that.

In those 12 issues I do not remember a mini shredder (but I remember city at war second time around fight from there), the mini shredder or a mutated version I only remember from the 2003 tv show. Sorry this came off like a troll question, I really don't know.

Going to look it up on the web now, maybe you know if the small one will be for sale too?

They also did an episode on FOX or 4KIDS of TMNT with other clone versions of shredder. I will def need these look at the elite ninja too!! I just hope MONDO learns to ship in a timely fashion. Not only that QC is key, Donnie and Raphs arms come off very easy when posing!

Mondo confirmed these are still happening. Looks like a purple variant with the foot also.

There is a picture floating around, but I can’t find it now.

He teased a purple Foot soldier head with the foot logo on the head just like the cartoon version. If they do release a variant that would mean a new costume to be totally accurate.

I just hope the price point can be adjusted to something more reasonable.
I only bite for $150 because I thought to myself 4 turtles and maybe Shredder and call it a day.
