got the pillow for a buck and the kite for 25 cents at the AS IS store, the shelf was $3.99 at goodwill. the shelf is probably hand made either as a bootleg or by some carpenter who made it for their kid but i still thought it was cool considering if that was the case itd be one of a kind. unfortunately its missing a peg and an eye.

Couldnt pass up a shogun triceraton even if he is missing armour and a tail. The guy agreed just to sell me the triceraton so he refunded me half of the BIN price. The tail from my regular triceraton figure, a little custom work and I got myself a cool figure. |

EDIT: I messaged the seller asking if he still wants to sell the rest of those figures. Here's hoping I can get them for the $10 EDIT#2: Seller responded but won't ship to me in Canada. Man I live like 10 mins across the NY state line in Ontario it's not like he would be sending to the north pole! Last edited by nintendo2600; 12-17-2011 at 09:34 PM. |

My latest "steal" came off-TMNT; it was a set of 600 entertainment press photos for $85, or about 14 cents a photo; given most retail AT LEAST for $5 (and the same seller is selling such TMNT photos $13.88 on eBay), it was a fun purchase and spending an evening looking through. My mom and dad also loved it; looking at the different stars along the way. Some were from the 1950s and '60s. There were some Batman, ET, Star Wars, Titanic, and a couple Elizabeth Taylor ones in there, and even a couple of resumes by a couple entertainers. http://www.ebay.com/itm/250948403009...84.m1439.l2649

Scored this little guy from a local collectible shop for 25 cents...
I got a decent deal, right? I put him with the other extra cool TMNT figures I have: |

I was just happy to get the original 10 in one go and have a bunch of extra's for my son and I to play with. It's not about money to me, it's about the fun of collecting and enjoying time with my boy.
