While it is nice, I'd much rather play these games on a PS2 or download whatever's available on PSN.

Yeah, some of those games that aren't on it were either re-released recently, or a hundred times previously. I'm guessing they were going for a certain balance and some things were considered but ultimately didn't make the cut.

I mean, when one of your choices is "Metal Gear", and the alternative is "Anything Else", you pick Metal Gear.

If it had Chrono Cross, I'd buy it.

I'm the sort that would rather stick with a PS2. The backwards compatibility in the system still works, and, it still works on my flatscreen TV. All that is needed is to stock up on PS1 memory cards.

However, there was a time when I really wanted a PS1.

I still pop for the original PS start-up screen.

For some PS1 gamers, certain sounds that came up after the start-up screen, were unnerving. Most of them occurred whenever a damaged disc was inserted into the console.

And, there's also the infamous PS2's Red Screen of Death, and even that unnerved quite a few gamers..

The PS2 can improve the pixelation on ps1 games. You change one of the settings in the menu. That’s what I usually do for those.

Still the list for the mini/classic is interesting to me. I never played a lot of those and have wanted the original Rayman. The disc is expensive now.

Spyro is getting remade, Crash was remade and Tomb Raider was remade so don’t know why so many are complaining about those missing. I’m surprised Resident Evil is included. That’s been remade a lot.
