Before Nick, it was a pretty miserable state of affairs when it came to TMNT merchandise.

The other day at Target, I saw the deluxe large scale Jurassic Park T-Rex. It's priced for collectors. I also picked up the (cheap looking) figures from the kids line to go with it. These things can work together.
Never say never, I've seen weirder things happen before...

What exactly do you mean by a deluxe T-Rex priced for collectors? The most expesive one I have seen is the Super Colossal T-Rex that sells for $55. But that is very much still a kid's toy, it's just a large kid's toy.

Harsh? Yes, but go back and reread all this in a month and tell me I'm wrong.

Not harsh at all. This person is by far one of the most entitled people with whom I have ever dealt.

For those that are unaware, Neca is announcing their SDCC exclusives all week. They revealed a Groot Chia Pet today and are announcing the next exclusive tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

That's what I was thinking. I was meaning more for those that didn't know they were announcing them in general. It seems like everyone was upset they didn't do a full reveal the other day so I thought I'd share that when I saw that no one had mentioned it

On another note is it safe to say that the SDCC exclusive will be the 1990 figures they teased earlier and that NYCC will be the box set that will include more figures than last year that has been mentioned?

We don't know that yet. We don't even know if the "multiple figures" line is supposed to indicate that all of the figures are included in the same set, or if it implies multiple sets that have to be purchased in a single bundle, or seperate sets of different turtle incarnations that can be purchased individually. Maybe NECA is doing just the 90's movie figures. Or maybe they branched out and decided to tackle the entire trilogy. We really can't say.

I like that they gave more range in joints than 1/4, that donnie pose gives that away.Probably best tmnt figures ever for me.

The figures and accessories are really very similar.

And let's not forget the Foot Clan set.

I wonder if they could make another set in the same fashion, but based on a different TMNT universe (the first movie being the most likely).
I guess it's safe to say I was right!

Yep that was my thoughts exactly. There's no way 1/4 Donnie could pull off that pose .
