I did the same, but I was so perplexed when they didn't spell it out in the corner like they did literally every other planet they went to in the movie.

I avoided Han Solo's death without a problem; Though I expected him to die based on all the interviews Harrison Ford had done in the last decade. He always mentioned he wanted Han Solo to die and hated talking about Star Wars and mentioned he just wanted to make it all end so when you see him sign up happily for a new Star Wars movie, I knew he would've only agreed if he could have the character killed in that movie to shut people up.

Oh, I think we are.

They wanted a nice setting for an At-At battle, so this desert planet has a spot in the film.

You know, it's funny how it's so called other planet yet it still looks like earth. No wait, it is still earth! The sandy desert, the green forests, waterfall, pond, icy mountains. Blah.

At least Star Trek has jarring color palletes for other planets. Are they running out ideas?

The name of that planet is Crait, Its a mineral planet made of hard rock salt.

A generic planet is the least of my worries.

This being the "training movie" i think will mirror ESB's Dagobah training but twice as long, Kylo Ren will win the last fight of the movie a la Cloud City and there will be a "twist". Or maybe it'll just be a boring pointless movie like Rogue One.

As for Carrie not being in Episode 9, I believe Disney was asking for permission if they chose to include her likeness in anyway it is greenlight and helps shape the script whether it be a flashback or something like the last moment of Rogue One or even leftover footage folded into Episode 9. Todd probably assumed it meant Xarrie would definitely be in the film from the permission request.
