FYI- looking for letters for TMNT #81! Would love to hear what you like or dislike about the series, or what you'd like to see moving forward.
Feel free to write to "letters@idwpublishing.com" with subject "TMNT" or post here with a "Ok to print". Thanks guys! |

Sorry for the off-topic guys, but - aside of TMNT and Ghostbusters - I'm a huge fan of Jurassic Park, especially the novels by Michael Chriton. Over the years there were some not successfull attempts at JP comics, part of them by IDW. Now with the fifth movie arriving in the summer:
1. Do you still have the license? 2. Are you going to make a comic version of the film? 3. Are you guys - after resurrecting TMNT and GB and making them THE BEST COMICS ON THE MARKET of the last few years - planning to do something similiar with the JP property? |

Unfortunately, Jurassic World comics is not something I can talk about publicly at this juncture. Good questions though!

Okay to print!
Dear IDW Crew, First off, hats off to the lot of you! You guys have created what may be the best TMNT of all time. You've managed to create an epic story line that takes from some of the best parts of the franchise, while mixing in a lot of new stuff, making for a thrilling and at times genuinely surprising read! In terms of characters I hope pop up, I'm still holding out for Lord Dregg, and maybe some of the Nick characters now that that show is over. I'm curious of a few things. First, will we be getting any stories where the other individual members of the pantheon menace the turtles? I'd especially love to see Gothano in action, and I'm very much looking forward to the upcoming Rat King storyline, which I guess will have started by the time this letter is possibly published. Second, when Ch'rell is eventually awoken, what are the chances he'll dress like the Shredder? If any of those answers would be too spoilery, I apologize. Overall, great job with this series! I'm sure that whatever you come up with, I and everyone else are gonna love it! Sincerely, Morris Beauregard |

I loved that last issue. I wasn't expecting so many parties to be involved, but I guess it makes sense when you have a large scale invasion. lol Great job! I can't wait to see the showdown between the turtles and Splinter.

I don't think any of us on the team really think there's a need to come up with them. Maybe if we did some sort of extended story in that time period.

If you guys wanted to, would you be free to play with the Golden Harvest (live action) or Fred Wolf universes? Say tomorrow you wanted to put together a mini-series based on the old cartoon or movies. Like, rights-wise, is that doable? Obviously you worked out the Arche/Mirage stuff but I think the former two iterations I mentioned may have shared ownership.

I have a letter that is good to publish; I feel ready to make that jump
Spoiler:
Speaking of theories on their society... I do have my own thoughts on how Utrom surnames work. It's not an efficient system, but it's better than everyone having a mononym...
