TMNT RPG (Fan Game)
A new fan-made game created by a friend and I over the past few years. Made on RPG Maker VX Ace, it is a jrpg / turn based style video game. A new and original story but is steeped in existing TMNT lore. Taking place a few years after Turtles' adventures have begun and they are a little bit older, likely in their late teens. Through this story there is a slightly darker tone while having bits of humor and emotion. Hopefully it would make Eastman and Laird proud.
A link to the game page: https://rpgmaker.net/games/9069/ Hoping the game will be completed sometime this year! Let me know what you guys think and I will update when a download is available. Based on the characters from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. Characters and Concept Created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird; a Property of Mirage Studios / Nickelodeon. This is a fan-made game that is not to be purchased or sold for any monetary reasons.

If I'm not here when the download is posted, everyone has permission to raid my PM box. I'm really interested. I love fan games, I love RPG maker, and I love TMNT. So you've got a fan already!

Looks fun! I especially liked seeing the overhead rendering of the TMNT lair!

You are really able to do anything you want in VX Ace if you know how to code properly... which I don't, so I used someone else's script to accomplish different things like that. I hope you like the look of it!

VX Ace huh... that's the same one I have that I've yet to play with. Was this the result of a humble game making bundle purchase?

Yeah it looks brilliant. I was tinkering with VX Ace last week and was frustrated that there was no side view and skills were tied to class instead of character. If there's something for sideview fights I gotta go find it!

VX Ace is capable of a lot of different things (probably was in a lot of those bundles), but there is a new version call MX that I have yet to try to work with yet.
I have done by best with the VX Ace engine, but I am sure there are a lot of things I still don't know how to do. But I hope everyone will like the game, I know I put a lot of work into it!

Since the game is almost completely, I wanted to put it out there to see if there were any pixel artists who would be willing to help with the remaining sprites needed for this project. Many are just single sprite images and some are full walking animations.
I know this might be a bit of a stretch to ask, but please let me know if there is anyone who may be interested in helping. If not, that is alright too, it might just take a little longer for the finish game to be posted!

Thanks, glad you like the trailer. I used RPG Maker VX Ace for this game (The caterpillar effect is a default feature in that version). But hope you decide to give it a play!
