That's all well and good for anyone here that may know to suspect that something shouldn't have gotten to the public -- even though we still had no idea and weren't sure it was even real -- but pity the random person who simply happens to see something and share it, having no idea it wasn't an approved leak, and end up punished for sharing something that was the company's own fault that it got out.

Honestly, I don't know why anyone ever tries to supress a leak. Once it's out there, it's out there, and removing it only confirms that it's real. If they were smart, they would say nothing about the leak, and then no one would have any way of knowing if it was real or not until the movie's release.

If they were REALLY smart, they'd leave the leaks up, and then create their own fake leaks ala Alex Hirsch and throw those in with the real leaks.

As to how these leaks got out in the first place, Its mostly from marketing material that someone got a hold of, and leaked it anonymously.

The snack food press release maybe, but that chunk of consecutive storyboard frames... ohhh to be a fly on the wall, because that surely took deeper direct access.

No way was someone going to let that out anything but anonymously, else risk legal backlash for breaking nondisclosure.

Too bad we probably will never know this would-be juicy gossip. lol

Again, being another version doesn't shield it from criticism. Bad takes have occurred in a lot of adaptations of media mostly because certain aspects just don't work or make sense. Let's please not negate criticism by saying "it's another version" because there's a reason we discuss these.

Tigerclaw is a shill he will never criticize anything. That's why Movie Studios love him

I had assumed the McFarlane leak was somehow misconstrued, but today I found out Paramount reported a YouTube channel for discussing this leak. So now I assume it's all true.

For discussing it? Not even showing the content?

Paramount over there just wishing they had the powers of North Korea, because we'd so all be in prison right now. lol

You'll be fine, Paramount... We're not even the audience you want, remember? Clueless little kids will think it's great. Well, unless they know TMNT already and this is so off in left field that they're wondering "wtf?" too. We'll see.

Copium makes me hope this storyboard is from a flashback at the beginning of the movie where the Turtles are like 5-6 years old. And they'll look older during the movie.

High school was mentioned in the dialogue, so...

I mean, the designs we've seen already do look older than the storyboards would make you think.

Like, which demographic is this aimed at? New 5-10 year olds?
Yeah? Why would you even expect it to be targeted towards anyone else?

If you are obsessed with the Turtles going to school, read or listen to this 1991 storybook by Astrid Holm instead. That's enough.

Well by the looks of it some kid at some point in time did not care for it. lol Someone abused that poor book.

At least it's just one book and unrelated to the series. And those are even the Turtles that existed rather openly, yet still wore disguises... unlike certain MM 2023 Turtles who walked fully undisguised into a modern school that probably has security cameras and evening janitors roaming.

Yeah, public schools in the early 90s were pretty lax on their visitor policies. We all know what happened in 1999 that started to change that.

You can still watch the full (supposedly fake) storyboard on YouTube:

For now. They'll find it in a min.

Though they can't undo this so I'm not sure why they bother, its not going away. The energy is probably better spent on locking up the rest from being leaked before they want.

I mean really, raise your hand if you downloaded it... lol

Those Hollywood tycoons can try to silence the TMNT fandom, but it is futile.
