Splinter looks a lot bigger then I'd expect him to be with that squat design, and Meat Sweats is underwhelmingly small.

Wow the figures do look much better than the promo pics. The two play sets combined is so huge and awesome, I would have loved that so much as a kid. I like the 12" figures. I don't think I'll be into this line like the last one, but I will pick up the figures I like. Meat Sweats is cool and April looks cute. Also digging that tank. Looks like a lot of fun for kids honestly.

So Meat Sweats is the 2018 series newest mutant so far.

From the looks of him. He was probably some butcher that turned into a mutant pig given his clothing.

Splinter is hilarious looking. Like not as ugly as BaySplinter, but he looks like a mutated ancient one. And everything else looks derpy.

I'm still dying that the main bad guy is named "Meat Sweats"

I'll probably grab the initial line just as a collector standpoint, but I don't see myself getting heavy collecting on this series. They DO look good in comparison to the promo artwork, but I am wondering how good the releases will actually be on the paint aps and such... Usually Playmates puts the most work into the 1st roll out, but I don't see them staying with all those colors and details as time progresses... The lair playset and vehicles looks pretty solid though... if I was a kid I would have really liked them.

Raph seems out of scale to the brothers a touch... a little too small. Mostly I wanna know with that Gir/cat/mutant thing is with April... Apparently it's named Mayhem. I honestly can't stand Splinter though... I dunno... I wouldn't mind him being small and wise like Yoda or something, but he looks like Yajarobe from Dragonball Z...

I was gonna say, the "levels" of the lair and even the neon-y style/colour scheme of the street backdrop would work pretty damn well with the 2003 series in particular.

(And using screenshots from the original arcade game for the arcade machines is a very cute touch, I'll give them that.)

I actually really like the playset as it looks like it was built for displaying figures AND it combines with the other playset!?!?!? I love that!

I won't be buying anything else as I don't like the design but the playset will be cool with some paint touch ups.

Bummer, I was actually interested to see Raph remain leader, to bad he'll be replaced by Leo in the end. So what was even see the point of doing this if it was just going to be back to normal after a season? I guess to give a reason for the Raph/Leo rivalry.

So much news since I’ve last posted, sorry if I missed it, but is their an approximate release for these, like summer?

Edit: never mind, found it on one of the links, 10/1.

Still hope it’s not that long.

Those giants look pretty nice too... I need more room! On seeing the hidden city playset I first thought it looked a bit too ridiculous and pointless but now I'm warming to it... Man...that thing must be massive. Look how small the figures look on it, even the tank looks small down inside the tube!

I kinda was hoping the sewer set could connect up to itself if you bought more, it kinda looked like it could.
