Did Casey really have sex with Karai? (Mirage) - Page 2

The other reason I don't think it happened is Casey Jones has no memory of it. So if it happened, we're led to believe Karai drugged him or something just to sleep with him, but why would she do that? Casey's not exactly the best looking guy and I have no idea why the ninja master of the Foot Clan would want to sleep with an average joe. Not to mention a female raping a male just doesn't make sense even in this universe.

And Talia/Batman have history, and it led to Damian Wayne. In the Mirage universe, Karai and Casey have absolutely no relation, Casey wasn't even part of the Foot story in City at War. There would be literally no reason Karai would want or need to sleep with him.

I think it's time for the CyberCubed reboot.

Huge fan of the gimmick, but lately it just hasn't been clicking. This is usually the part of the storyline where the character gets sent home for 6 months and comes back with new theme music.

I just... Don't see why Karai of all people. She gains nothing by hanging Casey over April's head bragging that she bagged her man, like she has no personal beef with April, hell she can only assume Casey and April are a thing to begin with.

Idk. Coulda been a case of Casey dealing with April being a drawing (assuming those two even did it tbh) and Karai not getting laid since whoever gave her a daughter. Nothing was really alluding to it.

Yeah but I just find this one funnier because the other guys are talking about their girlfriends/wives and Batman goes straight for a guy, not the countless women he allegedly has sex with as a billionaire playboy or woos with his superhero charms. I remember Casey was definitely planning to get some with Gabby in "Casey Jones: North by Downeast" (which I just realized... is written by Rick Veitch! for some reason all of these years I've assumed it was strictly an Eastman project. I guess is why IDW doesn't reprint it). And if it's not shown in "City at War" then it's definitely implied that he was having sex with Gabrielle (Shadow's mom). Similarly with April in vol. 3 and the first part of vol. 4.

PL's writing style also usually doesn't go for stuff like this, he very rarely writes relationships and outside of City at War you barely see anything besides the usual April/Casey. I don't think it was on his mind and as said Karai and Casey literally have no interaction in Mirage prior to this so it doesn't even make sense for the characters.
