I'll pitch in for all the lotion and tissues he's probably gonna require.

Spoiler:

It's neat to see the two of them together.

I wish the actor they chose as Superman was taller, he looks way too short next to Supergirl.

He doesn't look that bad. I didn't know Supes is supposed to tower over Kara.

Seriously though, somebody please give him the red undies. The suit just doesn't look right.

Is it just me or does his suit look kind of dirty and faded compared to hers?

It'd be awesome if their suits matched.

Why do they have two different "S" symbols? Why does his cape need buckles when hers doesn't?

These little details are gonna annoy the crap outta me.

I wonder how they're going to work around Superman being in episodes to still let Supergirl save the day. Its going to be lame if Superman is taken out easily in all the eps he appears in and Supergirl has to save him because its her show.

I'd imagine multiple threats or something that requires them both to defeat rather than one be elevated at the expense of the other.

it might be in their best interest to test the audience reception to their cast of Superman, and spin him off into his own TV series.

who knows? maybe they were already planning it?

I also had that thought, especially the logo. What's going on with that?

IGN spoke to Andrew Kreisberg about how they're handling Superman this season...

Quote:
“When Supergirl and Superman walk into the room, everyone gets really quiet about him. And her reaction is, “Oh, please…” We sort of liken it to if your brother was a famous rock star, or a famous movie star, all you remember is a lifetime of growing up and fighting over who's sitting in the backseat, and sharing a bathroom, and he pulled my hair. And then you go to a restaurant, and people are sending him drinks, like, ‘Oh, right this way...’ and that's sort of Kara's interaction. People have asked us how do you make sure that Superman doesn't overwhelm the lead of your show? Rather than shy away from that, we're embracing it. It's kind of the idea like, yeah, he is more popular than she is. How does she deal with that? That's our take on that dynamic that’s between them.”

And this season will deal with Kara overcoming that. This would be in line with the feminist backbone that the series has. Just my guess, anyways.
Called it

How many episodes is Superman going to be in? I heard it was only 2, which is a shame if true.
