Once again Fox is screwing up Lilandra isn't a Villain in the comics she is friends with Professor X
Also Kinberg is gonna keep the movie grounded he doesn't want the movie to get to intergalactic. Even though the Phoenix Saga deals with Space https://www.comicbookmovie.com/x-men...ed-for-a153531

The fact the movie will have Lilandra, it has to be intergalactic, how are you gonna ground the movie by introducing an alien from another planet?

Apocalypse was originally going to be Jennifer Lawrence's swan song as Raven/Mystique. However, she reveals why she decided to return for this film in an interview with Digital Spy.
