Smile The Royal Wedding 2018- Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The event was held on Saturday 19 May 2018. Ladies: Anyone watched? What you think about it?

I liked it, it was a beautiful wedding, the only thing was that the Reverend did his message too long.

I watched it. I’m a sucker for weddings and my ongoing muscle tears and spasms had me up early enough to watch while I tried to gut through the pain.

It was beautiful and you can really tell they ate in love. I thought the sermon was amazing. Something like my own preacher. I thought the royals were a little caught off guard.

Overall enjoyable for me.

Kate: Yes. The Royal Wedding had many touching moments. "Love was in the air". Harry and Meghan looked great. I will buy the DVD and the Royal Wedding music album.

Like every gal(girl), I was a fan of Princess Diana. Couple of years ago, my brother and I went to the museum to see Princess Diana's dresses, among them was her famous Wedding dress.

Don't have a clue why people are infatuated with the royal family

Probably to fill their own voids in life.

Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

In high school I noticed everyone being very interested
I've always found it to be a very dull subject, no offense

Americans and people who live in republics look at monarchies as something old and charming. They look at it with pink goggles. And it's only the English royal family that's famous worldwide. I bet most people don't know that countries like Spain, Holland, Belgium, Norway, etc. are monarchies as well.

Monarchies are an outdated regime. A lot of people in Europe don't like monarchs. They view them as useless money leeches who get a ton of privileges for simply being born, which is kind of contradictory to the principles of democracy, I'd say. Monarchies are not a Disney movie like some people seem to think.

Yes, many of them have scandal and drama, for everything that goes right with the English regime, it's always just as interesting when it goes wrong

Just look at all the fiasco with Princess Diana in the 90s, or Prince Harry's bad boy image before he settled down.

True. The other monarchy that is well known is the Principality of Monaco mostly because Grace Kelly married Prince Rainier and became Princess Grace.

I like them. It's a tangible connection to the past and traditions.
My country have nothing like this, so I envious of those which do.

You live in Russia, yes? As I recall, your country DID have something like that with the Czars, but then they removed them from the picture. Forcibly. With bullets. Kind of makes one curious how much reverence or love the nation really has for its own traditions? Anastasia might find sentiments like yours to be too little, too late. I guess it's true, you don't know what you have until it's gone.
