Wonder if they will sell these online like a few of their past exclusives?
Price is BS but given the rarity they would still be worth it. |

Are these the same that will be £10 over here when they come into the stores (not sure what you pay over there) just an early release or are they better quality, bigger etc?

Ugh, that price point.
I’d bite at $20 for at least Leo (and I’d still feel like I overpaid), but not this.

Would have been really great if they did one box for all the figures. So a four pack.
Like the NECA arcade box. With a window display and cool artwork from the new show. Heck, even partner with IDW and include the comic. But I’m dreaming. It would just be awesome to make SDCC exclusives extra special and worth collecting.

Oh right, $30 dollars lol, I assumed you would just pay retail price, but just get them at SDCC and get the "special paint job" that's WAY over priced.
Edit: just looked at the differences, the retail versions, don't get any of the skin spots and markings. I don't understand why on earth the retail versions can't be like the SDCC versions. Think how much detail the 80s playmates back in the day. They must have been around $10 bucks.

$120 for 4x Playmates figures?
Wow. I'd be ashamed of myself for buying those.

The Leo must be the one that Powder received some months back.
The extra deco is nice, and I’m sure I don’t need a third set of these, but I’m equally as sure that I’ll get em !! Haha |

If you get all four, you'd be paying for them about as much as for the NECA SDCC Exclusive set. It's almost as if they weren't even aware of how bad their product actually is. I second everyone's thought here, these exclusives should've been the retail releases.

Wow, yeah.
Don't get me wrong, I think the figures look great...but not $120 for the set great. And suddenly I'm not all that upset that I can't make it out to SDCC this year.

How much were those first Nick figures in the tin.....or were those gifts?
What did Leo/Shredder Con exclusive retail for? I don't think the $30 is TERRIBLE if they have a better paint job, are limited, and come in a nice display box. The thing for me is I am just not a fan of this version....maybe the show will change my mind but...yuck!

I think some of you guys aren't getting who they're for, These are the better painted versions that they took pictures of and sent for people to review early on. These same sculpts will be released at retail soon enough with less detail for normal prices and you can get those.
With 2012 they showed us these awesome figures, sent some to reviewers for a sneak peak and then we got the sh-tty paint app mass produced versions in stores with no way of buying the cool ones unless you want to pay scalper prices on ebay whenever in a blue moon they show up. At least now Playmates made it available for people to get them, you'll still get the mass produced versions later on. |

Yeah, they're sporting the same paintjob but the SDCC figures seems to come with the retail accessories, I think the prize figure just came with signature weapons.
