Rsvlts tmnt

RSVLTS is a popular clothing company with a big fan base. The shirts usually sell out quick. They just dropped a TMNT line.
https://www.rsvlts.com/ Only sold on Saturdays right now. Thought some might be interested.

Ugh, why must it be that same terrible stock art they always have on posters & sh*t? Can't they make their own styled stuff?

Imagine being this thirsty to have your art used.

The Retrostyle Stock art is so flat and lifeless, though. And a lot of the poses have weird proportions since they're drawn over existing artworks.

*reads comment, recognizes the irony in the statement the poster does not.

or was it glass houses and stones. What ever it is, maybe make sure you're not guilty of the same crime.

Just speaking truth. Some people have a hard time with the truth, but it's true all the same.

Oh no, someone that don’t know what CalArts is is getting snippy about art. I’d laugh but that’ll make me cough blood.

As a non-artist, I myself find the new TMNT Style Sheet art to be lack luster, and wish they'd just return to the originals, or commission some actual new stuff that doesn't look like it was just cobbled together from a collection of parts.

Yeah, the Retro art often looks like those paper dolls that you attach legs and arms on with pins so you can move them, but it's still flat.

Which is what they are, copy/paste art resources

From my experience anyone who claims that they're "just speaking truth" is usually an unpleasant little c*nt.

Actually, that's not really fair. An actual c*nt has a warmth and depth that you lack.

Better than pretending to have a c*nt, warm or otherwise. Again, facts are facts. Some people have been fooling themselves for a long time.

If you’re going to bitch about style, best you don’t share the same weakness.
It was obvious to me, the love for Rise comes from a desire to make drawing easier. Simplified art means they can better emulate the source material.

By lowering the bar on quality, they feel like they’re better artists.
At least Powder recognized his own hypocrisy. The other guy just cries to mods like a little boy.

Just checked out the RSVLTS stuff and while I like the button-ups, nothing feels like a must-have. Some of the best recent offerings shirt wise, have been from Homage.com: https://www.homage.com/pages/search-results?q=tmnt

I purchased a couple of their shirts recently. They are quality, super soft and when I contacted customer service with a question regarding restocks, the responses were fast and handled well. They also have discounts/sales often, which is definitely a plus.

I've also had my eye on a TMNT shirt over at cakeworthy, but just like RSVLTS, their stuff is super pricey.
