Splinter's Tale was previously included on the 1990 Original Motion Picture Soundtrack release, along with Shredder's Suite, although I haven't compared the releases to see if there are any substantial differences in the tracks.

Only the Splinter's Tale 1 and 2 Alt Mix on the score is different because it has no words spoken by Kevin Clash and Robbie Rist.

Unfortunately, I was holding out for this upcoming paycheck. Money has been tight for me lately as I had to get a new car.

A number of other labels are open about how limited their releases are, but I couldn't find anything that stated the quantity of pressings, much less that it was "limited" at all, beyond presumption that is. There wasn't even a low quantity alert.

On the other hand, it's wonderful that this release has done so well, and it shows that there's not only interest in these scores, there's still a market for CD pressings, as well. I just wish I had been able to contribute and had snatched up one of those excellent CDs.

Whew, glad I got one!

A quick sell-out bodes well for a re-release, and perhaps even a sequel album!

Also, looks like the only two vinyl editions left are the Master Splinter and Casey Jones themes.

Good to see that TMNT was a big seller for Waxwork! Bring on Secret of the Ooze vinyl!

That is not always the case. Intrada has been able to press more copies of their hot sellers. But for most labels, once it is gone, it is gone.

In most cases, if a re-issue does happen, it is years down the road. Varese's limited edition of Ghostbusters sold out fast. It has been highly requested title ever since, and it still hasn't been re-issued.

I got mine last week. As a guide I just checked and it arrived 17 days after the dispatch email.

Such a bummer. I noticed a few weeks ago but there were still YouTube videos up and even those seem to have now been scrubbed.

Yup, they are gone on Spotify too. Been gone for a while. I was trying to listen to them a couple days ago and was upset they were missing. I hope it's just a temporary thing and they come back.

Since I'm not confident on them returning to streaming/digital I ordered the CDs while you can still get them cheaply. Don't care about the Vinyl.
