I have two kids under the age 4 so I don't have time to dig through pages and pages of posts to find the answer.

Can anyone at least answer me if they are allowed to do more and different Mirage figures in the future?

Probably, although they do announce their exclusives before hand.

We're not mind readers, dude. Unless NECA gives a straight answer on Twitter, we have no clue on what they'll do. And what we do know is that there are three additional Shredder sculpts in the works, but we don't know what they are or in what scale.

At the moment NECA only have retail license for 1/4th scale figures, all 1/10th figures have to be box sets for Comic Con, so there's not a whole lot of drive to do a wide Mirage roster.

Heck they aren't even keen on doing re-releases of the Mirage Turtles due to the avalanche of crappy bootlegs that are flooding the second hand marked, and Shredder, Elite & Foot was existing unreleased molds. Basically NECA have now released the originally planned wave 1 and wave 2 in one form or the other with April being a 2009 SDCC exclusive and Shredder, Elite & Foot as 2016 NYCC exclusive.

What we do know is that Randy on Twitter said the chances for a Casey is pretty slim.

SDCC TMNT announcement will perhaps happen again on World Turtle Day in May. That's not confirmed but based on what they did last year.

Hey guys, I've been wondering something. Back in SDCC 2016, when NECA was unveiling some new Aliens figs, they had this figure there:
Spoiler:

It wasn't specified what it was for, so many are assuming it's a TMNT Pizza Alien homage:
Spoiler:

What do you guys think?

It's probably an intentional homage, both the toy and that episode. The original cartoon had a lot of 80's movie parodies. Rex-1 was based on Robocop, then "Rondo in New York" from Season 4 was based on Rambo. There was also the King Kong parody with the giant monkey episode.

Pizza monster homage. They were trying to gauge interest with its inclusion in the display.

It's not, it's a genetically engineered breed of Xenomorphs called K-Series AKA Yellow Xenomorph due to the color of their exoskeleton, first found on the videogame AVP: Extinction.

Ahh, I see. I had also assumed that since this was still the AVP body mold, just with a new head (or did they just remove the dome?), that this weird new paint job was just a precurser to a new AVP:R figure. That's cool.

Plus, it was missing the eyes if it was gonna be a pizza alien :p
