That is cool to hear! So I've got quite a rare item?

And yeah I knew about the oni kanji hehe!

I always found it interesting how the outfit was referred to as the Dragon dogi in the film, but the actual kanji written on the uniform, "oni," really translates to demon. That Shredder was a sly one!

I'm super to excited to announce that i was able to make a deal with actor Kenn Scott and purchase his other sai used in the first film.

What makes it so special is the fact that when the first film was over he and Ernie Reyes Jr were asked to attend a football game in Arizona to promote the movie just before it was released. He asked if he was able to take them the pair home.

I have recently spoken with the property master ( for the first film ) Robbie Beck and asked him exactly how many were made for the film. He said " I had them made by a machine shop that was on the studio at the time and made the out of aluminum because it was so light. The leather to wrap the handles came from Henson's Creature Shop and matched elements they used in the costumes as I recall. - 4 total sais- essentially doubles on everything.

After the first movie wrapped up he put the props in storage where they were re used for the 2nd film.
If Kenn wouldn't have asked to take his home then there would not be a surviving sai pair that matched on screen for part 1.

Anyways here are some pics of all 4 sai in existence.

I was also able to obtain his personal script from the 2nd film

IKEA LACK shelving. They have white, wood, black and brown.

I have one on the opposite wall that has my other props. You can get them in 3 different lengths too

I think there are 2 sets of armor that have survived from both films. These were used in part 1 and then I think used in the brief scene in part 2 after shredder shows up at the junk yard. I will post a pic.

Most of the props shown from everyone came from either the cast/crew, or from the property master for the 2nd film Petie Waldrop.

He put the props in storage until late 1999 when he auctioned them off.

Cool scores, Rutger! Didn't you already have some of these? I have the second "Production Team" crew t-shirt-- they're incredibly rare.

The "Wilmington/NYC 89" shirt design is REALLY cool! Love the Henson SOTO design, too.

Thanks!! Yeah I already had these. They were all folded and sealed and I thought they were just merchandise shirts untill I unpacked them recently and found out they're official crew shirts
I received them from one of the puppeteers.

I think I even asked in your thread a while ago if you were going to open them, haha!

The artwork is interesting. Could the first image be some sort of concept art from the movie? I don't recognize it from any comic art, but then again I'm not that extremely well versed in it.
