Yep, just saw this on Yahoo. Very sad news indeed. My dad always listened to oldies music so I grew up listening to a lot of classic singers and Berry was one of the great ones. His music was just awesome and it made you want to get up and dance. He'll be missed.

A pioneer in pop music and opening the door for non-Caucasian performers. He is among the best and will be missed, but never forgotten. Back To The Future helps cement that along with those of us who either grew up with or discovered his music.

Atleast he lived to 90. RIP Chuck. Props for still touring in his old age.

Spoiler:
I'm still not forgiving him for plagerizing Marty Mcfly.

Noooo, not the papa of Rock 'N Roll! Damn. RIP. Always loved Chuck. I was fortunate enough to see him live back in '07, like a mere 15 feet away! He was killin' it to the very last minute too, God bless.

That's awesome that you saw him live, Powder. That will be a memory you will always cherish so you at least have that. So awesome that he still toured even when he got older because he enjoyed it.

Can't even imagine how much music I enjoy today that he helped inspire, 90 years and he kept going 'til the end; always admirable to see that, rock on in heaven Chuck Berry.
