If the focus remains on Spidey and how he's balancing his lives as superhero and school kid, and they only use some of the villains as one-act or one-scene antagonists (e.g. Zsasz from Batman Begins), you can have more than 2 villains.

Apparently Michael Mando is rumoured to be playing Carnage. Not sure how I feel about going straight into a bat**** crazy villain like that right away. I'd be perfectly happy with just Michael Keaton playing Vulture.

Vulture is just a balding boring old man in a green bird costume, no appeal in that whatsoever imo.

I'm glad they go with Carnage. Now I'm interested.

I don't understand how Carnage can be rumored personally. In terms of film, you need Eddie Brock first alongside the symbiote storyline and finally Venom while also sprinkling in Cletus Kassidy. Maybe it's because I'm not a fan of Carnage as a villain outside his design, but I think a sequel should be in order instead of jumping the gun.

Me personally? I'd rather like to have Kraven as a villain or either Mysterio/Chameleon in a sequel. (they both have similar potential, no? Psychological mind games on Peter as Spider-Man?)

I love how the homecoming part of the logo has sparkles flying around the spidey head O.
(EDIT: WOAH WOAH WOAH, THEIR ADDING CARNAGE!?! FINALLY WE GET TO SEE HIM IN A MOVIE!)

No use throwing out all those plans I guess.

Not in every version he's not, and he can be interesting as an elderly man.

I'd love to see Carnage too, but straight away? Really?

It's just a rumour for now. They haven't announced who Mando is playing yet.

Carnage has a pretty compelling book at the moment, Gerry Conway is a great writer. I recommend it.

Getting off topic for a quick moment, but I'll give it a look Zarius. (do need to read some comics soon anyways) Do you think you can give me a quick summary of it's plot, spoiler free though?

Funny the way you phrased it.

The Amazing films were both awful (though TASM 2 was slightly less so), but this looks like it could easily wash out the bad taste they left. Between this and the upcoming PS4 game, Spidey's future is looking brighter than ever.

Too bad we still don't have a great Spiderman cartoon to watch.

What about the 1994 cartoon and Spectacular Spider-Man? Those were great.

Unfortunately, both end on cliffhangers (though the '94 cartoon is finally getting an unofficial conclusion)

What about Marvel's ultimate Spiderman on Disney XD?
I am quite enjoying it.

The Ultimate Spider-Man tv series is far from what most would call "great". Compared to Spectacular, it's weak.
