Looks like director Chad Stahelski is only aboard (for now) as a "prep director" so it might be another director on this one. Stahelski is supposed to be directing the Highlander remake, which is also gearing up.

These movies are great. I'm shocked I like a movie universe that starts with a puppy getting killed as much as I do.

I hope Stahelski ends up directing it.

I kind of don't trust it without him. Where things went and grew in Chapter 2 with the league of hobo assassins and all of that, there's a big potential for someone new to come in and make it all wacky and camp and unworkable. So far both films have treaded a line very skillfully but in the wrong hands I could see it very easily coming off of the rails.
