Issue #1 tracks the complete story of the friendship and rivalry of Oroku Saki and Hamato Yoshi, from friends to foes, from past to present, from astral plane to solid ground. Where the immortal Shredder builds an army of criminals, ninjas, and beasts, the resurrected Splinter and his Turtle sons grow their influence through family and fellowship. ANOTHER MINI-SERIES on top of The Untold Destiny of The Foot Clan which is supposed to kick off the post #150 direction and milking The Last Ronin simatantelously? I really thought this comic has been floundering and had no where to go.

I like what I am seeing with Saturday Morning Adventures, there is just one itch I need scratched. If this takes place between Shredder Triumphant and Get Shredder! then why is Shredder and company at the Hall of Science already? I always wondered how Beserko took residence there undetected and just so happened to have beef with Krang. Plot device for alien technology for sure, but come on! Not to mention the badass Star Wars esque design!

IDW has always put out ton of mini-series. We just got done with like 4 crossovers in a row with Power Rangers #2, Street Fighter, Usagi and Stranger Things. Now that those 4 mini-crossovers are done, we have more in-canon mini's to replace.

Admittedly I'm surprised at how many times they've done the "Karai and the Foot Clan have a hidden destiny" thing. I feel like we've seen this 3 times over already, how much more "hidden secrets" can Karai and the Foot Clan even have at this point?

They are ninjas. When have they not had secrets behind secrets hidden under the floor in a puzzle box that needs a key in another secret chamber behind a waterfall in a hidden lost valley?

For some reason, I still feels the writers "care" more about some characters rather than core four ninja turtles.
