Perhaps the recast of Trini happened at the same time Tommy was cast so they could have dialogue readings between two characters?

Yeah, that was how he was written out of the show. He met that Aquitian when he helped her race in the battle with the Hydro-Contaminators. When he returned to Eath, he found himself starting to age rapidly due to an invention that went haywire a season ago, he had to return to Aquitar to receive treatment and he reconnected and fell in love with her, so he decided to remain on the planet

As for Tommy and Kat, that's been canon to the show since Zeo's Christmas Special and thus no real surprise to long-term fans. It's widely speculated by fans that Kimberly wound up marrying Skull, though it's never been clear in tv continuity what happened to her after the Turbo movie

Episodes like that I take with a grain of salt unless followed up on. It was followed up on after all these years which is disappointing.

As for the other, I was looking for confirmation that it was Billy's daughter helping Tommy.
I do remember the rapid aging event, but aside from the poorly connected transmission was she, the one Billy fell for, in Zeo? She was white, but the blue aquitar ranger was black, so step-sister?

I don't think she was directly related to the Blue Aquitian Ranger when she arrived alongside him to tend to Billy, interesting to see you read into it like that.

I was in 4th grade. Old enough to tell the Dear John letter was out of character, but not old enough to know it was an American rework of a Japanese show. I was thinking the poor transmission was her only scene and only scene that I have seen of that particular episode since it aired ages ago.

Dinosaurs again? Ugh. I love dinosaurs and it's easily my favorite theme but Dino Charge is still very recent to do it so soon and you know they're going to adapt this into Power Rangers. I guess you can say every era will now have a Dino theme (Saban-MMPR, Disney-DT, NeoSaban-DC, Hasbro DinoMorphers(?) )

I don't like the suits but that is usually what happens during the first reveal, it takes a while before I warm up to them and love them. They remind me of a sentai Kamen Rider Dragon Knight right now.

I hope after Beast morphers they adapt the space sentai that Bandai of America helped create, that one looked cool and give us more time to space out the dinosaur themes.

Why? Episodes like that are canon until we're shown otherwise that something else happened.

I was so worried Boom would muck up the Kimberly and Skull date in GGPR this week, but it went pretty well for what one might expect from it, they actually gave Skull some maturity and he thought logically about things. Kimberly is hurting now but she'll thank him later. I really hope they go somewhere with this, these two being endgame has been a fan theory for years

We find out that SSSS. Gridman is indeed the original as the new form is a weaked state and in the final battle he gets his true original form as he fights in the digital landscape city that Gridman/Syber Sqaud is known for.

It also is the twist is that essentially Akane is arguably the main protagonist of the series as she is from our real world.

Real Life Akane has dealt with self depression in our world and the world we see in the show is essetially an escapism fantasy of hers, a simulation that is apart of the Computer world. Considering that Rikka looks like the real world counterpart of Akane some speculate that is what Rikka is, she represents the world Akane while the Akane we see is what she thinks is her ideal self. Rikka is created because Akane wants to learn love herself so that is why Rikka was made.

Gridman and Alexus seem to be a third party. Gridman being the cyber cop he is was probably after alexus but their fight ended up in Akane's simulation fantasy.

The end of the series has Akane waking up in the real world.
