No, it's actually 3 different seasons of one series. Season one is the Macross saga. Then you have the Second Robotech War and the Third Robotech War. There is a 20 disc box set that has all three seasons plus 3 full length movies. Check on Amazon or at your local Walmart. Also check out www.robotech.com. The story starts out with Rick, Lisa, Minmei, Max, and Roy, then the second and third seasons continue the timeline with Gen 2 (ie, their kids). The movies mainly deal with other characters or side stories within the main series.

Note- I had my hubby type/post most of this, as he is a HUGE Robotech fan! -MMD

So read "Spirit Circle" and it's a pretty crazy series about reincarnation. Definite recommend. Only six volumes long.

Started reading another of the creators work called "Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer." Some pretty good stuff and good subversions.

That's funny, because from what I've seen, anime is getting tamer and tamer as time passes.

CyberCubed's ignorance on anime aside I'm not really feeling this season's anime and next season doesn't really look that good to be honest. Heck the only thing I'm looking for in fall is the Castlevania series.

Anime is too fanservice driven these days.

I went back to watch Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood and then the 2003 series, now that is when anime was still good. They don't make it like that anymore.

Watch My hero Academia, Ping Pong the animation, Michiko to hatchin, Lupin the third(parts 4&5), Megalobox, Aggretsuko, Durarara, Psycho pass, Hunter X Hunter, Fate Zero, A Silent Voice, Mob Psycho 100, One Punch Man and the Jojo Series to watch anime like that. There are probably more but I don't feel like listing anymore

Recently read an interesting manga series called Dance in the Vampire Bund, though so far I've only read the first three volumes. Pretty good, definitely want to find the rest. I love stuff like this, with drama, conflict, tension, slice of life, comedy, and even a bit of romance.

Japanese Superman? Especially now with the canon Dragon Ball -

I like dragon ball as much as the next guy (
I have the mangas (original and Super) the movies, Jaco one shot and even GT on dvd) but it isn’t nearly as godly as many would praise it. It isn’t even the best shounen.

My favorite moment in Pokemon? When Ash was killed by Mewtwo. Two younger cousins killed any interest I had in Pokemon outside the actual card game. And maybe the first 3 GB games. (Red/Blue/Yellow)

Dragonball/Dragonball Z, if you watch from beginning to end, is the pinnacle of anime storytelling.

There's quite a lot of character development, drama, humor, and action...and most of the main cast is likeable. There's a reason Dragonball inspired literally every shonen/action anime that came after it.

Saint Seiya is a better shonen anime than Dragon Ball and I got some cool "insider" information that Toei plans to make Saint Seiya a hit in the US with various projects they're developing, the previous 4 tries have failed horribly but Saint Seiya was as big around the world as Dragon ball.

That left me more confused but i'm as intrigued as ever! VR Troopers of anime is like the best description ever.
