The CGI models of the minifigs looks a little better Not very impressed by the wacky deco on the blind bag singles, though.

I do want that Utrom exosuit though. Sorry, Kraang.
Just a different variation of the Shredder figure I guess.

So the trend of sculpting details you've no intention to paint extends now to Mega Blocks...

I'd get The Kraang figure if I could, but the rest are an easy pass.

Yeah, the Kraang is the only one that appeals to me either. Paint doesn't look TERRIBLE and these Nick Turtles are still painful to look at. Atrocious.

It's good to see that the blind bag figures will be different than the set versions.

I'm still not sold on the Nick Turtles stuff. But the Classic TMNT stuff looks great so far.

Well we have Classic, Modern, and Half-Shell Heroes TMNT Sets apperantly.

This popped up on TRU's website. It's out of stock since it obviously hasn't been released yet.

Mega Bloks Half-Shell Heroes Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Lair Battle Building Blocks 115 Pieces

Quote:
Raph puts all his training to the test as he stops a Kraang invasion in the Turtle Lair Battle by Mega Bloks Half-Shell Heroes! An evil Kraang Walker has come stomping through the Turtles' sewer hideout and it's even brought a Mouser for backup! Little ninjas can build the lair and help Raph defend it when they send him down the tunnel entrance, knocking over the arcade game to blast the Mouser out of the way. Guard the lounge, sending pizza flying when you take aim with the pizza launcher! Then, fold Raph into a ninja ball and use the Turtle launcher to send him flying forward, crashing into the Walker and knocking the Kraang to the ground!

The Mega Bloks Half-Shell Heroes Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Lair Battle Building Blocks 115 Pieces Features:

Easy-to-build Turtle Lair with tunnel chute, arcade game that flips down and a working pizza launcher

One buildable Raph action figure that folds into a ball and one Turtle launcher to send him rolling into action

One Kraang action figure with buildable Walker and one Mouser action figure

Starter building system for young builders

Combine with other Mega Bloks Half-Shell Heroes playsets to build big Turtles adventures!

Well, I am sold. Now when is this all going to show up? What stores are getting them? Also, what sets are going to be available?

I want some answers.

Yes, Legos are horrible in comparison, but it's too bad we didn't get a Lego TMNT videogame.

Mega Bloks, much like Playmates, usually has all new products ready to ship at the end of December. So some store might have them by the end of the month if they run out of product and start forcing out new product early. But chances are most stores will not see these until they reset their aisles after the first of the year.

Just a question, does it make any sense to ship toys after x-mas, I mean, the best will be before that day so parents can buy them for their kids.

It does seem counter intuitive. But most stores end up changing their toy layouts in January, often shrinking the toy department down for the first half of the year. So it is a fairly common time to launch new products for which stores had no allotted space previously.

Eh, they seem less and less appealing the more I see'em. Like, Krang could have used a bit more time in development stage and be a bit more fleshed out. The Nick Turtles decals look awkward.

Leo Pizza Fury would have looked alright, if he wasn't covered in pizza junk all over his torso.

Those "villain packs" are a pretty great idea, really. So long as they're fairly cheap.

Any links? Only the 3 Nick single packs and the Dojo show up in any normal search results
