I'm a big fan of these figures, but seeing how I've never seen a problem with finding any of them at retail eventually, I would just hold out and wait. He just came out so it'll still be a little bit until he's regular in the stores

It seems they may be uping the ante on Karai Serpent. I was at a local Wal-Mart yesterday and watched as an employee opened a fresh case and was putting the figures on the pegs. Saw her pull a Karai, then a Movie Mikey, and then another Karai from the case, so there were two Karais in this particular case. Of course it could have just been an error.

Finally grabbed a Karai. Spotted her at TRU in Washington, PA. They had a nice selection of regular, mutations, and HSH.
Always wished they put 1 piece of an exclusive character in each mutation. |

The main Wal-Mart I visit (Hodgkins, Illinois) always seems to stack up cases of new figures in their quasi-stockroom/staging area (TMNT, Star Wars, Transformers, et al) for days, weeks, even months -- drove me crazy during the TF4 toy releases. Anyway, in that spirit, one of the two Basic Figures cases was put out (one more ready on the palette, plus a 16pk Mutations case), and, BlueKatana, bro, long-and-short of it is that I hid the lone Karai Serpent just to the left of the Basics for you or another member here, behind three of the large-size Mutations Dons. I spoke with the toy dept. employee there yesterday, mentioning the "Herman Munster-sized" TMNT POP aisle displays ... "Oh, Arrgh, we got one of dem last year; people taking pictures of it and all." She must have seen me!
In other news (albeit old), last night I finally saw head-dropping Mikey at TRU Gurnee, IL -- Kaman, TRU! Happy hunting! Hungry for Monkey Brains after finally watching the "Mighty Mutanimals" episode! |

I saw a Pizza Thrower today and I've gotta say I thought it was really cool. It was at a Target. They didn't have any new figures though.

I bought them about two weeks ago at Toys R Us. I've also seen them at at least one Walmart store since then.
