I am interested in a box or 2 if you are still taking orders. Do we just send money over or what is the deal?

Yup pretty much. When I see the PayPal notification I'm making the boxe(s) at that point.

A mini batch going out tomorrow

After this second full batch (about 16) I'm finishing up I'm going to be putting this one on the shelf so I can work on another few projects that require my attention. I've started looking into Pork Rinds, Turtle Wax and Raphs Trenchcoat.

Just got my box and pizza in the mail today and I'm super impressed with it! The details in the box are just awesome. Do you have any tips on painting the pizza? What kind of paint and which colors to use to get that perfect crust color you got?

First things first, the pizza should be primed before painting. So when I paint rarely use a color out of the bottle. There's likely 10 paints on that pizza. I started with making a deep maroon for the sauce, dry brushed with a slightly lighter red. Same went for the crust. Start with a dark brown and gradually dry brush tans and other lighter brownish tones until it's a color you like. Make your cheese off white, not yellow.

I really like to finish coat my toy customs with Testors dull coat. To me it gives a real factory toy finish. In this instance insealed it with dull coat and then used a high gloss to paint the cheese to emulate grease under the right lighting.

What do you use for a primer? Can an aerosol spray can work like household primers?

Yeah I've used Krylon and Dupli-color personally. I like airbrushing or aerosol for my primer so it's a thin even layer.

thanks for the comments guys, glad youre enjoying them!

I'm assembling batch two and all who have ordered should see tracking numbers within 2 days.

I only have about 5 left and then the boxes will be done for now (members who I have spoken with already, your boxes are counted). I have a big project that I have to jump on

Nope not too late but like I said not many left before I take a break from them. Once I get some solid quotes on the coat/ hat I'll let everyone know. Inwont be making those myself, only finding a known tailor and commissioning them.

On those, likely the way it'll work is 50% down, 50% plus shipping upon completion

Hey guys - perhaps it was my last post but the boxes are now all officially spoken for. I will likely revisit them in the future but I've got some other projects going on that need my attention.

They were a lot of manual labor but I love the end result and I'm glad you all have as well. Check back for other accessories and like I said, I'll likely revisit some pizza boxes when time allows me to.

THANK YOU!
