Hopefully they can wrap up these plotlines in the next 2 issues, waiting another 2-3 years to cover this stuff would be crazy. We’re still waiting on Null and Ch’rell post issue 100 too.

Okay! Mutant aftermath, turns out Herman was in hiding the whole time. Pretty clever move by Hob and Ray there. Can't exactly say I'm impressed by your seeming idea to 'rescue' the new mutants. In what universe does Hob think these people whose lives he just ruined and whose bodies he just mutilated wouldn't tear him apart and put his head on a pike as soon as they get a third of their wits about them? Course Bishop has to one up him by actually attacking the mutants, including at least one EPF lemur. That's...not very smart on his part... I do appreciate the art style here, really emphasizing the body horror the transformations and not making this suddenly a furry convention.

Uh... In the one where the same person who mutated them is now offering them the (only) chance to be whisked away from certain death at the hands of two giant snapping turtles and/or a wetworks squad? Hob's plan is more ingenious than it seems. Stay tuned, I'd say.

*sigh* I’m not the sort of person to nitpick such things normally but this bit bugged me. We’ll see.

Looks like Bishop gladly obliged! Does he really not know and remember where he is? Right out in the open in the middle of Manhattan with cameras everywhere? Or does he just not care? Is he that dementedly obsessed (and impervious to the irony that he's actually the biggest monster there)? Yikes... I bet Hob was counting on exactly this happening. Realistically, there's no way a ragtag group of mutants such as the Turtles and the Mutanimals could take down an organization of EPF's stature. No, this is how they defeat Bishop: through terrible PR fueled by his own insanity. Poetic justice as its finest.

I will confess this is rather in character for Bishop to act this way. His tactics have constantly escalated things going back to the Triceratron War.

I agree. But he had the President's approval on that one and it was an invasion. He's acting of his own volition now, attacking completely innocent civilians... No way this ends well for him. My guess is, his exo-suit is destroyed in battle and Bishop himself is arrested (by Kara?) either in this issue or in #100. If used right, he could become IDW TMNT's equivalent to TWD's Negan and pop up later on to help fight something even worse. He did kill the Mutanimals' "Glenn"...

Hob may be a mutant, but that mutant is a true 'MURICAN.

YYYEEESSS!!!
Karai's team don't look especially enthusiastic about these three being back. But I have to admit, I'm more than a little curious to find out why Karai is addressing an auditorium of people. |

She's asserting herself as the head of NYC's underworld, much like Shredder did at the end of City Fall.

Indeed, it would be the series' single greatest missed opportunity if Bishop and Karai never met, and inevitably came to blows over a number of reasons. Plus, there's no way the Turtles stand a chance against either of them unless they make it a three-way war.
