TMNT: Mutant Mayhem

Since the trailer will debut tonight during Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards, I thought I make an official thread for reactions, and discussions regarding the new TMNT animated movie.

The trailer will be posted as soon as its online.

Barely a teaser tonight. Looked Spider-Verse-ish though.

Waited through it all for just that at...literally the last 5 min I guessed correctly in the other thread.

blurry offscreen upload but it already looks really good visually. They definitely are leaning into a cg/sketchbook hybrid but it works in this small glimpse. Not a bad first impression.

Out of all the Cast I have to say. Jackie Chan as Splinter is perfect

Alright, three things:

I'm guessing the two different actors confirm that Superfly is not the same character as Baxter Stockman.
I'm surprised we're getting an Utrom character who is not Krang and that Krang just doesn't seem to be a character at all.
I'm surprised Hollywood still wants to associate with Jackie Chan after... Well, after he said some things that I would make him hated in his home town...

Jackie Chan as Spinter is the best casting.

Another thing to note, Is Leatherhead in this version of TMNT will be female.

Well at least we got a cast list finally. And that is quite a list. I hope it's a 2 hour movie and makes all those appearances worth the budget while not shorting the Turtles on screen time.

And here I'd hoped that Nick had moved on from John Cena...

Man, they weren't KIDDING with that title! That's A LOT of Mutants! One of my favorite things about TMNT is the crazy Mutant side characters, so to see SO MANY packed into a single movie makes it feel like this was MADE for me. (Only really missing Slash.) Preview also looks super cool style-wise. Excited for the full trailer!

Also interesting to note: Leatherhead and Wingnut are played by ACTRESSES rather than actors, meaning these versions will probably be ladies. (I'm assuming to make the Mutant cast less of a sausage fest.) LH's actress is also Australian, so we might be going full Steve Irwin rather than Cajun with her!

That cast is INSANE, I love it. Some very unexpected things. Post Malone is Ray Fillet?! I don't know what I'm more shocked by, the character's inclusion, or who is voicing him. That goes for most of tonight's reveals, really. I'm down. I like the art style a lot so far, too.
