How do Krang/Utrom reproduce?
Hi,
are there any hints or theories how these aliens reproduce? Are there real females? Are there young newborn-like utroms? Or eggs? Or notes from the makers? |

However they do it, I'm sure it's awful and I wouldn't to know in a million years.
In all seriousness though, Utroms are shown to have males and females. So it is a fair assumption that they do in fact have sexual reproduction. Wheter they lay eggs, give birth, disperse seeds or form their young some other way I'm not sure has ever been established. |

Aren't Utroms based on the same organisms that exist in our oceans? I don't know, how do jellyfish mate? You don't want to know.

Well with most fish the female lays eggs and then the males crop dust them with the baby gravy.
Angler fish (those are those huge nightmarishly butt-ugly fish that have a little light hanging off their foreheads) are actually female, the males are much smaller and less scary and connect to the female like a sentient tumor. Some fish and amphibians do switch Gender, if a female is needed. With Bees and Ants, all the drones are female. The males stay near the queen so that she is able to produce more ants. With bees, the only way a new queen is produced a larva is selected and fed royal jelly. And of course, some organisms are able to A-sexually reproduce. Any of these options are possible. |

Real females? Yes, that does in fact seem to be the case. They mention "mothers and fathers" and are consistantly refered to by either male or female pronouns regardless of wheter not we see them in android bodies.

Though there are only two female Utrom that we know of Queen and Rook. All other Utrom/Kraang with the exception of Knight AKA Kraang Subprime and Kraang Prime all look and sound the same.

In the case of the Nickelodeon cartoon that is true (if you don't count April but I don't think anyone does), but there are female Utroms outside of that cartoon.
