Lately I've been into "Fools Gold" by Fitz and the Tantrums. That opening line just gets me.

"Oh maybe I just wasn't good enough
To blow your mind
You know I tried..."

Oh and the new Hazlett album. Really good. I recommend his song "Monsters" . Not on this album but just a good song.

The Jesus and Mary Chain's "Honey's Dead" album. If you liked their track from the first "Crow" soundtrack, then you'll like their entire albums. Very listenable indie Brit-Alternative rock.

RaphaelinSTL post about his Discogs page had me looking at my own page there which reminded me of some stuff I haven't listened to in a while.

So now, I'm cranking "Free" from The Hunger's albums, Cinematic Superthug throughout the house. If anyone hasn't heard it, I imagine most rock fans would be drawn in within the first 15 seconds of the guitars in this one.

The Hunger in the band that had a very popular late 90's track called "Vanishing Cream" that got a ton of radio play during that period.

Since Queens of the Stone Age released their latest record this month and they are probably my favourite band of all time, I‘d been listening to nothing but their entire discography for the last couple of weeks. I don‘t think Josh Homme has ever released anything I disliked in any way.

Great band.....

Right now I'm listening to "How Soon Is Now" by The Smiths.

I've been on this early 90's industrial rock kick, listening to a lot of Gravity Kills and Machines of Loving Grace....

The 90s did rock, but no era rocks like the 80s did

I have a pretty substantial Wax Trax! Records collection here.... Not sure if you know what that is or the movement that came out of Chicago in the 80's though.
