Pretty weird he could contort himself to suit, though. But whatever, he clearly did.

So, he probably is an Utrom that was stripped of his armor when he was banished by.......whoever it was that banished him. Which just makes taking over Saki's head extremely questionable - and I'd think would not have have been a comfortable experience.

Yeah, he must have basically put Saki's whole head in his anus.

From what I could tell, it was more in the middle of his body, so probably more like the naval...if Utroms even have that. I imagine they're non-placental, so there would be nothing to leave a scar on their undersides after they're born.

First rule to understanding comic logic: Never delve too far into understanding comic logic.
Because you just might over-do it and go to this bottle. There are (at least) a few stupid quips that linger in my mind concerning some of the comments in this thread; the best ones are just better off to be left unsaid.

I'm pretty sure he isn't an Utrom in Archie.

It's kind of ironic this turned out to be Krang's last appearance in the Archie run too. After this they drop Krang back off at the toxic waste planet and he never appears again for the rest of the series. Considering this was only issue 25 and out of a 75+ issue run, they pretty much moved away from Krang (as well as Bebop/Rocksteady), very early on.

I have SO much to say about how funny Krang's Morbus situation is in Archie after seeing the IDW take on it.
The successful warlord whose very name strikes fear into the hearts of thousands comes seconds from his death on a toxic lake... But the bloated spoiled brat who's never had to do anything for himself in his life? He quickly figures out how to make a shelter, build a net, make weapons with sticks that also double as handy food skewers, wrangles a spiky lizard with acidic breath to his will, and kills a successful warlord with said pointed stick. This is probably why he won't be banished to Morbus in his trial, because he knows how to survive. Unless they don't know about that little situation. You'd think the roles would be reversed.
