This is basically Pocahantas:

A strong native american woman who rebels against the European slavers and tries to lead her people to freedom when they're called, "savages." She basically gets super powers here and helped push back the hated Spaniards.

All strong native american women are Pocahantas to me. They look exactly the same, I can't tell the difference.

Oh I wasn't either before seeing the episode I'm not sure if she's from the comics or if they created her for the show.

If I had to guess I'd say they made her for the show and plan on using her in more media if the response to her is good.

Kahhori was created just for What If she isn't from the comics

I'm all for them creating brand new characters (rather than, say, race-swapping or whatever existing characters)... but this growing practice of just making up characters to be in their comic book movies is pretty stupid. There isn't one existing comic book character in the shelf in over 60 years that wouldn't be remotely suitable? Even from obscure runs of, say, SJW writers' runs in the past 10 years?

I enjoyed it though it probably wasn't as good as season 1.

I admit I really enjoyed the Kahhori episode, but that's mainly because the Spanish empire and colonisation of the Americas is a fascinating subject to me rather than actually like her as a character particularly.

The season was fairly forgettable but I still enjoyed as I watched it. I will watch it again somewhere down the line. I do like the art style of this show, too.

Next animated thing for me to watch will be Blue Eye Samurai, I think.

Binged the entire season earlier today, my favorite episode by far was the Happy Hogan saving Christmas one. I found the Kahhori one a bit boring because I hadnt a clue to who she was.

damn we're only two weeks into the new year and ppl are already getting banned from the technodrome

With the amount of people getting banned or others just leaving on their own, there are probably only around 10 people who come here regularly at this point.
