The Technodrome 'Theme' In Stereo

LISTEN HERE

Or at least what it could potentially sound like. The BGM music we know as 'The Technodrome Theme' is actually just the "Sweep Loop on C" sample featured on a Roland D50 synthesizer.

We as a community need to work together to getting the '87 series soundtrack released, seriously. We are fans from all walks of life, locations, and potential connections. We need to start organizing and seeing what we can make happen.

You should check out Powder's recreation of the 1987 tmnt soundtrack, its pretty awesome:

I don't think its ever likely, but a full soundtrack release would be amazing. The best I can do is listen to a part of an episode if I feel like listening to a particular track. Or some of the Youtube edits of the soundtrack, such as this one which I think is pretty well done:

Shredder could've done more than blow up the Channel Six building. I don't mean as far as murdering Splinter, but think of the possibilities if censors were not an issue.

Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

It should have been released around 2001 or 2002, when CD still was popular and the interest for TMNT began to come back.

I've heard it before, and honestly, not really a fan. It takes too many liberties from the real tracks instead of trying to properly re-create them. Just sounds like a generic karaoke type knockoff to me.

Nice Findz, GodzFire!

I never would have guessed the Drome theme was more of a sound effect/sample but it makes a lot of sense!

We had a discussion a few years ago about the Technodrome music being identical to some science fiction film that came out the same time.

Ouch. But yeah something official is always best.

I think someone knowledgable in music rights and distribution would be the best bet in getting a company to listen. I mean there's Intrada or La-La-Land Records but they'd need some major convincing. However if they do release a score soundtrack I only ask for a CD, not a overpriced collectable LP that I can't play anywhere.

Has the original opening song been released to any vinyl, cassette tape or CD?

I think the intro and outro has been, at least I remember at some point editing an edited together version of the theme.

Cue no life speech if you can name most of the episodes those clips where from just based on sound effects alone. Attack of the Killer Pizzas, Enter the Shredder. Funny, they Shrunk Michelangelo...Eye of Sarnoth.. Rebel with a Fin.....just to name a few.
