The National Museum of Brazil has just been engulfed in flames.
After nearly 200 years of existence, the museum is now in ashes.
It's truly a loss of ancient history. |

Its kinda show you how despite how old some of these artifacts are one screw up can pretty much end 200 years worth of education.
So far its saying lack of government funding might be the factor to it.

Wow, that is incredibly sad. Such a beautiful building with so many precious artifacts.
Is that a large courtyard in the center? You'd think with a space between sides of the building like that might help, but that top photo... Can't imagine how fast it must have spread down the halls like crazy. |
