I was thinking about doing that same thing, which gets me extremely excited just thinking about it! The SH Figuarts should be the perfect size to do this.

Most of the ones on ebay now are the chrome variants so be sure to read the description.

Yea everyone I see listed is chrome plated.... I obviously missed the boat on this. Im a bit of a novice with these sort of items... What is the real difference between the chrome plated and the regular? More expensive? It would only be to display.. Thanks for tolerating my ignorance lol

A closer look at the resin cast (non-articulated) that was made, more pictures in the link.
And he does look smaller then what we saw from the previous resin figure, so that's a good thing for him to scale with any Turtle figure at all. http://kumastyledesigns.com/sneak-pe...-not-shredder/ |

As now. I'm on the fence on buying him, compared to not interested when he was seemingly 9 inches tall.
If the final one reaches right above Cerebral's cockpit (the Turtles and B&R reach midway to the red panels), it's more tempting to buy him. Personally I'd like him to be a bit over 6 inches tall, but I would pose him with the Revoltech or future SH Figuarts not the Classics Turtles. |

I agree. I wish they would smooth out the shirt and pants. Would go a long way. The rest looks fine to me, and I am glad they finally reduced his height.

You know I'd really be more into this figure if they took off he sculpted pattern on his chest, abs, and legs.
I just feel like it's really overboard with all of that. |

Lunar Toys posted 2 pictures of the articulate prototype, the helmet is actually removable.
https://www.facebook.com/Lunartoysto...36439586463717 Kinda odd the Lunar Toys guy haven't shared them here, maybe we scared him away with the toy scale arguing? |

Maybe it's just me but I don't think Gokin NT-02 looks robotic. Seems like it's popular to design military or neo-ninja outfits with a stylized grooves to make it look like kevlar armor or something. Very "Batman Begins."

There are some more photo of him I saw which is pretty awesome. Sadly was told not to release them. Is it me or is this shredder toy discussion feel dead?

There's nothing to discuss beyond what's already been said, unless you want more complaints about the unnecessary added detail.
