Someone beat me to sharing the site, but anyway they're gonna be amazing! Do you have to pay in full up front or is it just a deposit? I'm guessing like a 50$ deposit probably judging by the other items I see?

I've never dealt with this company before. I don't hear bad things other then the delays which is fine with me if it's not an upfront in full payment.

I've never purchased anything through them either. But here are the terms for pre-order according to their site:

Non-Refundable Deposit (NRD)

All of the items we sell on a pre-order (PO) basis require a non-refundable deposit (NRD) to be able to reserve your order for an item while it is in the process of production.

The NRD amount is displayed on the product page of the item you are purchasing. NRDs are usually 20% to 30% of the item’s price.
If you disagree with the terms of this agreement, then you may cancel your order without penalty if it is within 7 days of placing it. We will only accept such cancellations by emailing customerservice@pcstoy.com within 7 days of your order being placed. All emails regarding cancellations that are time stamped beyond 7 days will have any NRD payments held.
NRDs cannot be transferred to a different product or used as payment on any other order.
Once an item is canceled and NRD is held, that item cannot be reinstated on an order unless a new NRD is paid for.
NRDs may be refunded upon cancellation if the product arrival date goes beyond 90 days of the posted estimated arrival date located on the product page of each item.

And if it takes 2 or 3 years to get this. Does that mean it could take 8 to 12 years to get all four? Or does the release time pick up after the first release with these things?

Yea... I caught most of that on their site. I wish there was a bit more of a concrete idea of what the deposit will be. Looks like it could actually range between more like $100 to $160 judging by their disclaimer. I may be able to JUST squeak it!

And then when is the remaining balance due deadline?

Most of them all say the balance is due upon actual shipping. A couple of the higher priced pieces have monthly payment plans, but I don't think these will since they aren't that insane of a price point. (in comparison to some of their other pieces I mean)

Did you see the size on it? Geeze it's freakin huge! Maybe it only seems like it will be because he's standing on the robot platform, but it's almost 2 feet.

Yeah it’s a big ‘un. I wonder if that’s from bottom of base to top of Raph, or just Raph himself? Probably includes the base as part of measurement.

Oh yea, that definitely includes the base, but even so. I think $500 is a great price considering the size. I seem to hear nothing but good things about PCS as far as their quality, not so much their punctuality. If I paid in full that might annoy me, but a deposit, fine with me if it takes 2 years.

I do hope though, like you said that doesn't mean it's going to take 8 years to do all 4 but I would think maybe they will release promos of the other brothers within a few months apart from each other so it won't be that long.

They may also want to see how well Raph does first.

i gotta say, they are really going with that accurate to the cartoon look.

IMO - much better than the IKON line.

If you pay upfront, there is a 20% discount. But as I've said, expect a two year wait.

If you want a payment plan and don't mind getting the regular version, these should show up on Sideshow's web site as well and they do payment plans.

Does the price on the PCS website include shipping?

No. They'll e-mail you a month or two before the item ships and have you pay the shipping fee separately.

They do offer payment plans as well.

Wow

If I was ever going to buy statues based on the OT, these'd be the ones.

I think that Icon Collectibles based their statues on the modern control art for the Fred Wolf designs. But the modern version doesn't match the actual original cartoon.
