Not entirely... there's still the mystery of why Cubed bumped this thread.

Thats an easy one, Cubed is actually Krang. Look at the title of the thread, and the time period it was made (when Krang was active). This is him giving us hints towards the inevitable big reveal.

The theory never made sense in the first place, anyway. |

^ Some people like the OT as adults. Others, grow out of the OT as adults. Some grow out of the OT much sooner.
There's nothing wrong with either outcome. I still like the OT, but, the vibe is sort of dwindling a bit for me. Last edited by DarkFell; 03-16-2018 at 12:53 AM. |

Even despite all of its flaws, I used to love the OT up until I was 17 or so. I still like it but I think all the nostalgia that has been milked of it in the current decade has killed my nostalgia/enjoyment of it a bit. I have had stronger nostalgia for the 2k3 series in the past few years. That show ended nearly a decade ago already, after all. It certainly is no longer the "new ninja turtles cartoon". |

To some extent, I get the feeling the FW cartoon is going to be seen as like the Super Friends or Spider-Man 67 of the franchise, maybe in like 10-20 years. You know, in the way that it was popular and the way a lot of people were introduced to the characters, but nobody can seem to figure out why it would ever be popular in the first place.

Perhaps Viacom/Nick was the wrong company to acquire the TMNT property. Perhaps they'd have been better off in the hands of Warner Bros./DC. |

The 80s TMNT wasn't even as camp at the Adam West show anyway. Nah for reason given above. |
