Looks OK, I guess. Looks kind of FAKE when she falls in the water.

This is the feminist icon Lara like the Tomb Raider reboot games.

Not the pin-up girl 90's porn star version with D cup boobs and the Angelia Jolie knock-off she was that 12-13 year old boys liked in the mid-90's. That version is no longer proper in today's modern society.

Now Lara Croft has been reimagined as a feminist beacon.

looks good, almost like it's right out of the reboot game. I do miss the dual pistols, it's campy but it was kinda her thing (besides the other obvious things), but bow and arrow is a nice replacement

I dunno, if they change the weapons and the cleavage, is it still Lara Croft? Or would that be like a non-chauvinistic version of Duke Nukem...?

Never played the games or read the comics, so I'm curious to know what people think on this one...

Have to at least have double pistols and a long braid at some point. That's her thing. Without that that's like Indy with no fedora hat or whip.

She can go without the braid, but yeah, double pistols for sure.

nuLara sucks compared to classic Lara, she isn't as iconic and her game which is regarded as PC ironically portrays a weaker Lara who can't get sh-t done. Obviously the know Classic Lara is too good to let go which is why she's still alive in various other forms, The Lara games, mobile games, etc.

This movie is going to bomb, though I do like the actress playing nuLara, that's still not Lara Croft. I don't think the movie can be worse than the Angelina Movies.

I've only played the Trilogy on PS3. Which consists of Anniversary, Legend and Underworld. I too prefer her original looks.

The Jolie movies were ok. They were at least game accurate.

I've never seen the second one but the first absolutely wasn't. In terms of story.

Well no it didn't have the same storyline with the lady turning into a monster but it felt game accurate to me. Just a different plot.

I wanted to see crazy stuff like this.

For the record, while I get their appeal... horrible games to play. Maneuvering Lara has all the joy of like, driving a semi-truck through enclosed spaces.

Oh Anniversary and the other 2 got rid of that awkward control format. They play like any normal game.

It's one of the reasons I never played the original Playstation games.

Some complain the newer ones were too easy (I guess because you get a checkpoint like every room you step in) but they're still fun imo. It's better because you don't have to redo a bunch of stuff when you die.

What's wrong with her neck??

The head and body are like 2 different pics photoshopped together.

I liked playing the first reboot game on PS4, but I haven't bothered with the sequel yet. I still have my copies of Legend and Anniversary for PS2.

The TR comics from the '90s are currently out in oversized hardcovers and they're a real throwback to that era. The colors are overly Photoshopped, and the characters are impossibly proportioned. Adam Hughes drew several of the covers.

Isn't this actress the one who played that android in Ex Machina?

Really unneeded and unwarranted post. But okay...I'll bite. Why did you make this post when it wasn't brought up?

i was thinking the same thing.
