I picked up the Mutaegn Canister Mikey from Walmart today. I feel like these are a better value than the previous minifigure packs. Just wish they gave a clear tube piece to between the two Mutagen canister caps and a round piece to use as a platform and lid to hold the accessories and bits not being used.


I hope Mutatin Yoshi to Splinter is in wave 2.

Yeah, I was hoping the canister could double as protective packaging too, since the new boxes don't appear to be as collector friendly as the previous style.

Me too! I expect Mutatin Bebop and at least Leo or Don is most likely, but Yoshi/Splinter would be my next guess. I suppose a Mutatin' April could be a possibility too, which would be great!

Don't know if any of you guys saw yet, but after yesterday's launch of the new megaconstrux.com website, some of the new Nick sets -- including the Series 4 bags -- are now showing up on the site.

You can now download the Series 4 manual and see the outline of the mystery figure. It looks clearly to be a Tiger Claw, presumably a variant of some kind.

Glad to see Karai in there! Space Mikey and Mystic Raph look pretty cool, and the Red Ninja (was he from the Japan time-travel episode?) is a good look.

I'll be curious to see how different this Baxter Fly looks in comparison to the one that came with the Baxter's Mutation Lab. I'm guessing he probably won't have a human form.

Red Ninja is a generic Japanese Foot Soldier.

Nice! A bit disappointed to see another Baxter and Tiger Claw since I got them in the already released sets. The others look great though and getting Karai this quickly is awesome! Took Playmates years lol

Well we all know playmates has pretty much completely dropped the ball. At this point I mainly buy the megabloks line as the figure quality while half the size is still better over all. In fact I pretty much decided the only playmates pieces I want are figures that are in better scale with the megabloks line (Snakeweed, Slash, etc.) makes for a really fun build. I have also been adding and connecting all the playsets to make a giant city scape. Plus customs are easy and fun too! I made a Chunin Leo (idw) and a black suit Raph (Archie)!

Has anyone found either of the Classics Construx Battle Packs in store yet? Mattel never restocked the Donatello one. My partial sets (just Donatello) are selling for almost as much on eBay as what I paid for them on Mattel's website, as if people are starting to worry that this particular set was discontinued...

Sweet! Looks like I'll be searching again this week. Didn't realize these hit stores yet. Still looking for the Donnie with Rock Soldiers and Samurai Leo packs too. Shouldn't be long as I'm seeing Mega Construx from TMNT and other franchises at Target and Walmart in my area.

Also, the four ooze canister Mega Construx were in stock on TRU's site the other day.

This is good news. I hope to get a Space Mikey, Mystic Raph, and Tiger Claw the most.
